 Yvette Kissi is a London based visual artist and textile designer. At the core of Yvette’s practice is an intrigue and love for colour, and the language and cultural connotations associated with it. Her passion for the material behaviours that occur during her creative process directly transform into the detail, elegance and complexity that manifests in her luxury textile designs.

Yvette’s pieces have an elevated elegance, and complexity and give each painting another form with which they can exist, be draped, shaped, and reshaped, on the body. This carefully developed language of colour, painting and textiles highlights the transformation when a piece is converted from one state to the other, allowing storytelling to transcend mediums because art isn’t just to be hung on the wall.
